Most recently CEO and Head of Wealth Sales with HSBC Private Wealth Services (Canada) for five years, Nader is a veteran of the financial services industry in Canada. His vast experience has been sourced over his 25+ years of tenure in senior executive roles in the areas of retail and commercial banking, wealth management and private banking at Canadian Big-Five and global banks that include BMO, RBC and HSBC.
Nader participated in, and successfully led, two start-up businesses, and the transformation of another. He developed in-depth expertise in leading various businesses and functions, covering the areas of sales and distribution, marketing, operations, compliance and risk management, strategy and strategic development, to name a few. A business development strategist, he is known for developing an entrepreneurial culture and accountabilities that consistently deliver strong results. An accomplished leader and coach, he developed his brand in attracting and developing top talent and mobilizing top-performing teams.
Nader holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo, an MBA specialized in financial services from Dalhousie University (Halifax, Canada). He is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (ex ICB).
